Oooh Armani...

I was completely sucked into the Sephora VIB sale.  I decided to splurge on the Armani eye tints and boy, am I glad I did!  These are so creamy and easy to blend.  They are gorgeous!

Brow Wow

During the Sephora VIB sale I decided to try out the Anastasia Brow Pomade.  I picked Taupe as my favorite Brow Wiz pencil is in that color...but after feeling like Groucho Marx I traded it in for Blonde.  The pictures are Taupe.  In photos it looks ok but in person it was too dark.

Eye makeup is the same as yesterday but for liner I used Clinique Intense Black

Lips today: Buxom Hot Toddy
Skin: Cream Stila Gerbera, ERA foundation in R2, then Tarte Risqué powder blush.

Purple and sage

Now that I think about it, perhaps my eye look should have been more complimentary to my clothing today but...whatever!

You know, I love when I start looking for links to the products I used how I become aware that so many of them are no longer available.  Thank goodness for Ebay I guess!

So here's today's look...

For the first time ever I'm using the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer-Radiance with Hyaluronic Acid.  It's very pretty.  For some reason I can't find the jar online but here's a link to the tube.  I'm going to wear it for a week and see how I like it compared to the Becca Backlight Primer.

Also on my face: Armani Maestro in 5

I do not like this one as much as the Luminous Silk Foundation.  But I paid a crap ton of money for it so I'm going to use it up then revert back.

Concealer: IT Cosmetics Eyelift in a Tube. Eyelift is a bit optimistic I think.

Cheeks: Stila Lillium

After applying my Milani  Prep+Set+Go powder I used Clinique Plum Gorgeous.

Highlight: Wet 'n Wild To Reflect Shimmer Palette in I'll Have a Cosmo

Contour: Wet 'n Wild Photo Focus Pressed Powder in Cocoa

Eyes: Primed with Fiona Stiles Peach corrector

Inner eye: Exposed from BareMinerals (top left); on browbone Lure (top row, third from right)

Outer lid: mix of these two shades in Clinique Blackberry Frost duo.  I am always amazed at how much I love these two colors.  I don't normally "do" purple and I definitely don't like frost but this duo is one of my faves.

Eyeliner: Stila Kajal in Onyx.  I don't love this liner...I find it slips from my waterline onto my lower lash line by the end of the day.  So I wasn't terribly sad to see it's no longer available.  The new Stila eyeliners are much better.

Mascara: BeneFit RollerLash

Lips: Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in Bellini...love this color!

That's it for today!

Holy grail!

Baby's got red eyes...

I've been using CareProst on my eyes hoping to length my lashes...and it's discolored my lids.  But this amazing corrector by Fiona Stiles is wonderful!

Before

After without makeup

After with makeup

Outer Corner Bobbi Brown Bark
Liner: Denim Ink (I absolutely love this product!)

Clinique Patchwork Peach blush (discontinued...you can find it here on Ebay for a ridiculous price)
Clarins Bronzing Duo under chin and along tip of nose

Lips: Bobbi Brown Razzberry (gorgeous color but much too bold for me; I like to mute it down with a brown or beige color)
Clinique Perfect Beige (one of my favorite lipsticks so, of course, it's no longer available except on Ebay)

So today starts Sephora's VIB sale...if you're a Rouge member you can start "saving" today...the rest of us wait until tomorrow. I have my cart loaded!

Juvalips...yay or nay?

Older...not much wise...still trying to find a product that will magically plump up my thin lips.  Age is a bitch...my lips are getting thinner and my nose is getting bigger.  Hahahaha!

Ok, Juvalips...promo code SAVE20 if you decide you need this product.

First my before...

Juicy, right?

First step, lip balm.

Second step, super funny faces into this weird little contraption...

It doesn't hurt.  It definitely feels strange (lip tugging is not part of my daily ritual) but no pain or  discomfort.

Ok, here's my magical after...

Hmmm...well, maybe the top lip is fuller?

Third step: try again and, just for shits and giggles, turn it upside down...

Good grief...that looks slightly pornographic.

Yeah, I'm going to go with a no on this.

My lips feel a little bruised and I'd be ok with that if they were fuller but I'm not seeing a difference.  I'll keep trying...(older, not wiser, remember?) and will post an update if it turns out the device does work and it was just human error.

Until then, have a beautiful day!
