Holy Grail Bronzer!

Yesterday, while meandering the aisles of CVS, I discovered a new bronzer palette from Physician's Formula.  I almost put it back...I mean, how many bronzer palettes does a girl need?  Well after trying it out I've decided JUST this one!  I am madly in love with it.  I have used it every day...I have a backup in the mail on its way to me...and I texted all my best girls to let them know.  Rarely does that happen!

Ok, but first, overall face...

Gotta love the fresh-from-the-shower tresses.

Skin: Era Bronzer mixed with Era R2
R2 is too light and too pink for me.  But mixed with this bronzer it's absolutely perfect.  I love it!

Cream blush: Tarte Joyful (not worth the price on Ebay or Amazon; it was limited edition so it's higher than original cost.  It's just a petal pink...you can find the same color in almost all cream blush lines, including drugstore.)

I LOVE this so much!  I use the darkest shade around the perimeter of my face.  The taupe shade I used to contour.  The highlight is perfect for an eyeshadow base.  I absolutely cannot recommend this enough!

Powder blush: Tarte Sensual

Shimmer from the Ellen Tracy 8 Days of Bronzer palette.  I bought this at Marshall's (I had no idea they even sold makeup...I went in on a whim and spent nearly an hour there!  Obviously this was before school got out and I had kiddos with me.  They'd have lasted about ten minutes and only because there is also a candy aisle.)  It's pretty but chalky.  You can find it on Ebay but there are better palettes out there.

Eyes:
L'Oreal Nude Fishnet lightest shade all over lid.  I like this a lot.
Lower lashline: NYX lime
I am seriously enjoying this mascara!
Outer eye: Ellen Tracy 8 Days of Bronze palette the color at bottom mixed with the color directly to its left (if the very top is one, these are colors 5 and 6)

Lips:
This may be my new favorite combo:
Mac Spice liner
All over: Buxom Alexis

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

It's hot...

The last few days have been brutal temperature wise but today we started off with some rain and now it's almost breathable outside!

Despite SPF 45, I have managed to get a little color on my face.  This presents a challenge as far as color matching goes.  Today I experimented with two of my favorite products and came up with something I really like!

But first, here's the whole face...

Foundation:  I mixed my Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream in Light/Medium with the era everyday aerobrush bronzer.  Voila...the perfect color!  The Garnier I have is the original version which they no longer sell.  I haven't tried the new ones but I'm hoping the formula is the same because I love this one.
Blush: a new favorite Wet 'n Wild Flirt on the Street
My Milani Prep+Set+Go powder over T-zone
Then MAC Tenderling blush.  This blush is no longer available and while I love the color I do not think it's worth the $45 they want for it on ebay.

Eyes:
Fiona Stiles peach corrector first

Sonia Kashuk Shimmer Spotlight palette...no longer available
Fresh Surreal on outer corner...no longer available
Elf navy liquid liner
No mascara!  I curled my lashes but they're falling out like crazy so I'm giving them a day off.  This Rodan +Fields lash serum better start working soon!

 Lips:
My favorite lip pencil (it's an almost perfect match to my lip color) Estee Lauder Tawny
Maybelline Blushing Beige in center of lip for fullness

Have a blessed...what day is it?  Friday?  Oh how I loooove summer!!!!

Summer is in full swing...despite it not officially being summer

So it's not technically summer...but tell that to Mother Nature.  Temperatures have been ranging in the 90s here and the bun I'm sporting 99% of the time tells you all you need to know about the humidity.

Today it's suppose to rain so putting makeup on was actually worth the hassle.  We've been spending so much time outside that my new game is tinted moisturizer and lip balm.  But today we will be inside where my face can't melt off.

So here's the full face.

Face is same as always with new blush.
Cream blush: Wet 'n Wild MegaGlo Makeup Stick in Floral Majority. I absolutely love this product!
Powder blush is Nars Deep Throat.  Screw Orgasm...this blush is my favorite powder blush.  It is absolutely gorgeous!
Contour and highlight from Fiona Stiles Mistake-Free Makeup Eye and Face Contouring Palette.  I do not believe this is available anymore.

Eyes:

All over lid is L'Oreal Cool Ivory...lightest shade.  I am on the fence about this one.  It is super shimmery...something I'm not a fan of.  BUT, when I put it down as a base and put a more matte shade over it, I enjoy it.  Unnecessary step?  Maybe...
So over this I put the lightest shade in the Tanya Burr Fairytale palette.  This little palette is adorable!  And it's super cheap.  Yes, you have to work a little bit to blend the colors but they are pretty.  Outer corner is the bottom left greyish taupe shade.  I love this color!
On browbone I used Maybelline Nude Compliment, another product I like.
Eyeliner: I used the darkest shade from my Stila Aubergine/Amethyst duo.  This is no longer available.  On it's own this is too overpowering for me but I love the shades as eyeliner.
Lower lash line I used the lightest shade from this Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips trio.  I love this shade for the lower lash line.  The other colors in the set were ok...I find I don't use them very often.

Lips:
CoverGirl Outlast in Forever Fawn.  I'm trying this product yet again. I love this color...I hate this formula.

That's it.  Have a blessed Wednesday!

Summer is here!

We are officially on summer break!  And today it's going to be warm enough to bust out the water slide. Today also marks the beginning of week three of using my Rodan + Fields Lash Boost.  I've been told to expect to see a difference in the next three weeks.  I eagerly await results!

I think I'm falling out of like with my L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur foundation.  Despite primer, it's really starting to settle into my deep pores  (do not, I repeat, do NOT pick at your blackheads teenagers!) and the lines around my eyes.  It was so bad the other day that I threw a blending brush in my car so I could do touch ups.

Otherwise foundation/concealer/powder are the same.
Cheeks:
Sonia Kashuk cream blush in Blossom.  I really love this pink hue.  It's not overwhelming but does show up on my fair skin.
Powder blush is one of my favorites: Cover Girl Sophisticated Sable
I fell in love with this when I was about sixteen and have used it on and off ever since.  I stick with the middle shade but sometimes throw the darkest color in as a pop.
Highlight is new...the lightest shimmering shade from the Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette.  This is the first time I've used it so I really don't have an opinion yet.

Eyes:
Tarte Sultry Star Power Palette...this palette looks beautiful but the color payoff, even with primer, is not great.  I do love the ladies night color...it's perfect for my browbone to contour.  The glimmer is pretty but fall out galore!  Outer corner I have sparks fly.
Liner is Stila Burgundy.  I bought this because I don't have anything like it.  I am finding that I like it better on the waterline.
Mascara...I think I've found a winner.  I hated that NYX Boudoir mascara because it was so wet.  This one I was a little scared of because I could totally picture the little ball thing stabbing me.  But it's perfect for getting those inner corner lashes.  I am loving the formula too.  Oh yeah, I guess I should tell you the name:  Cover Girl Total Tease!

Lips: Clinique Chubby in Whole Lotta Honey (I love this color) and in center of lip Rimmel Nonstop Glamour.

Have a blessed Thursday!
